GRAPHIC DESIGN for PRINT

Marketing for Barista Pro Shop consists of monthly magazine print advertisement, as well as monthly and bi-weekly targeted offer program.  As an in house graphic designer and photographer, Bic Vu pitched and designed print collateral that contributed to historically high quarterly sales.

Merchandise Design

Suggested and designed new customer "Thank You" merchandise.  These coasters functions as a complimentary product to the company's primary business as a coffee supply distributor.  Using existing branded ID, the merchandise calls for return purchases.

Merchandise Design: Ugly Sweater Coffee Cup Sleeve

Proposed and designed new merchandise that doubled as a holiday card.  These ugly sweater graphics were printed on coffee cup sleeves, replacing the existing holiday postcards.  The merchandise was a welcoming gift, and also were a key factor in Barista Pro Shop's partnership with a custom printing company.

Print Ad Design

Pitched and executed new design for monthly magazine print ads.  By experimenting with new photographic techniques, Bic was able to increase the visual depth and appeal of each product.  Text and frame were adjusted to allow for more open visual.

Direct Mailer Design

Designed and restructured layout for monthly and biweekly direct mailer promotion cards.  Stock images were combined with in house photographs to demonstrate product details.  With a wide range of audience, each design and copy underwent multiple edits to clearly communicate the product on the front and offer detail on the back.
